JOURNAL "HORROR MOVIES"

For this work, we needed to create a journal, layout and images, on the theme of a film genre. I chose horror.

For the whole theme, and especially the photos, I wanted to convey that uneasy and uncanny feeling we get when we watch horror movies. I played with repetition and high contrast to make things the less comfortable (without being too uncomfortable for the reader).

I decided to split my work into three chapters, each one separated by an image and text. For the first chapter, I started with a short introduction, followed by horror movies history and sub-genres.
For the second chapter, I put in a couple interviews from some famous faces of the horror genre.
And for the third and last chapter, a conclusion, with a text about the psychology of horror movies.
